01Proposition
What silentVIP does.
silentVIP is the private travel office for owner-led companies: one discreet, accountable team for the business, the family who owns it and everyone they invite.
It combines generative AI and advanced technology with expert travel coordination to make planning more personal and more efficient. Company travel, family travel, private events and complex journeys run through the same team, so every journey begins with people who already know the traveler.
02The problem
The customer and the need.
The customer problem
Owner-led companies travel like large companies, for board meetings, offsites and client visits, without the overhead of an in-house travel desk. The same owners also need help with family travel and private events, which usually sit with a different provider, or with an assistant.
The usual arrangements have two weaknesses. Preferences, loyalty accounts, documents and company rules have to be repeated with every request. And when an agency is paid by hotels and airlines, its advice can be shaped by which supplier pays the most.
Who it serves
- Companies of 100 to 1,000 people, led by their owners
- Owners and their families, including multi-generational trips and guests traveling at their invitation
- Everyone who travels for the business: executives, staff, board members and client guests
silentVIP serves clients in the United States and Australia.
03Product
The product in use.
Four services, delivered by one team:
- Company travel. “A travel desk for your business, without the overhead of building one”: flights, hotels and ground transport, traveler profiles and loyalty accounts, policy and approval rules applied the way the company sets them, and team trips, offsites and board meetings.
- Owner and family travel. Holidays, school breaks, multi-generational trips, last-minute changes, and documents and loyalty accounts for every family member.
- Private events. “When the venue is yours, the journeys are ours”: guest flights and arrivals, rooms nearby, transfers and timing, coordinated with the household’s staff, venue team and vendors.
- Complex journeys. Multi-country itineraries, premium cabins, mixed business and personal legs, and groups arriving from several cities, “planned as one journey” and watched until everyone is home.
Clients use a secure portal for itineraries, requests, traveler profiles and documents, and silentVIP publishes research briefings on loyalty programs and travel services.

04Opportunity and technology
Why it can win.
The opportunity
Travel is both a business cost and a family matter for an owner-led company, and the people who handle it gain trust that is hard to replace. A client-paid model keeps silentVIP’s advice on the client’s side, and an ongoing relationship means every trip builds on the last.
In our view, technology changes the economics of this kind of service: a small expert team, supported by AI and good software, can give many more clients the attention once reserved for a dedicated travel desk.
Technology
silentVIP pairs generative AI and purpose-built software with experienced coordinators. Its own platform keeps preferences, loyalty accounts, documents and company rules on file, “so every request begins where the last one ended,” and its client portal holds itineraries, requests, traveler profiles and documents for the company and the family, with reminders such as passports nearing expiry.
Technology supports the team; it doesn’t replace judgment. Requests land “with people who already know the traveler, the company’s rules and the family’s preferences,” and a dedicated flight team’s only job is finding the best way to fly each trip. Changes, cancellations and disruptions are handled by people who know the trip.
05Trust
How traveler information is handled
Travel planning needs personal details: names, dates of birth, passport and visa details, loyalty numbers, seating, dietary and accessibility preferences, itineraries and company travel policies. silentVIP’s approach, set out in its counsel-reviewed privacy policy:
- Used only to arrange travel. Traveler details are treated as confidential and used to arrange and manage the client’s travel. silentVIP does not sell personal information.
- Shared only as needed. With the travel suppliers who make the booking, and with people the client company authorizes.
- Discreet by default. Private requests are handled by the smallest number of people needed.
- A secure portal. Sign-in is by single-use link, each client sees only its own account, and the portal uses no analytics. Connections are encrypted, and access is limited to authorized staff.
