How Caldrion LLC handles personal information submitted through this website.
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains how Caldrion LLC (“Caldrion,” “we” or “us”) handles personal information when you visit ventures.caldrion.com, submit an inquiry, and when we correspond with you about it. The caldrion.com Privacy Policy covers our main website. Companies described here have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use their services.
Who we are
Caldrion LLC is a single family office and principal investor with offices in New York and Sydney. Caldrion Ventures is its venture capital and venture studio activity. Caldrion LLC is responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Inquiry forms. Your name, email address and, if you choose, phone number; your organization and role; and what you tell us about your company, concept, experience or proposal. Each route asks for different details, as shown on its form.
- Linked materials. Our forms take links, not uploads. When you share a link to a deck, CV or data room, we open it to review your submission; it may contain personal information about you or others.
- Correspondence. What you tell us when you email or call us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser user agent and request details to deliver and protect the website.
- Human verification. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person, using technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics.
- Submission details. With each submission we record the date and time, the page, your browser user agent, campaign tags in the page address (if any), and your country as derived by Cloudflare.
- First-party measurement. We count page views, form starts and completions, and clicks to company websites, with the page, the referring website and your country. We store no IP addresses, cookies or identifiers for this.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, as on caldrion.com, to understand how the website is used. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, it runs without cookies or identifiers. We do not use it for advertising.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to your inquiry and route it to the right team; evaluate investment opportunities, studio concepts, operator profiles and partnership proposals; keep the website and forms secure; and comply with legal obligations. People review every submission; apart from the human-verification check, we make no decisions about you by automated means. We do not use your information for marketing or advertising.
Legal bases (EU and UK)
If the GDPR applies to you, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, evaluating opportunities, recruiting and operating the website; on steps you ask us to take before a contract; on consent where we ask for it; and on legal obligations.
How we share it
- Service providers. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website, runs Turnstile and stores submissions (in Cloudflare D1). Resend, Inc. sends email alerts to our team, delivered through Google Workspace. Google LLC provides Google Analytics. Submissions are also recorded in our own customer relationship management system, which runs on Cloudflare.
- Caldrion and related entities. Within Caldrion, and with a portfolio or studio company when your inquiry concerns it and you would expect us to share it.
- Professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
- Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_HKZLET7PWL, up to two years) except for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Security cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect our forms.
- Sign-in cookie. Authorized staff who sign in to our content management system receive a strictly necessary session cookie.
- Local storage. If you pause the animated backgrounds, your browser remembers that choice on your device.
International transfers
Our service providers process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. For transfers from the EU or UK, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses in our providers’ data processing terms. When we disclose personal information outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries. As long as needed to respond and follow up, and afterward as a record of the opportunities we have reviewed.
- Operator profiles. Up to 24 months, so we can contact you when a venture fits, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Measurement data. Aggregate counts without identifiers; Google Analytics data for up to 14 months.
Security
We use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, automated protection against abusive traffic, and access to submissions limited to the people who need it, with every CMS sign-in by single-use link. No method is completely secure, so please do not send confidential information through our forms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and other rights under laws such as the CCPA (California), the GDPR (EU and UK) and the Australian Privacy Act. To make a request, contact us below. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You may also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, although we would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We will post changes on this page with a new “Last updated” date and make material changes clear.
